Dec. 2005: Linda Williams (Wife of Jerry Williams):
Linda underwent knee surgery December 8, 2005 at Conway Regional Hospital.
The surgery went well and she is recuperating at home in Conway. She expects a
full recovery but requests your continued prayers.
Linda is doing great! She is back to "chasing Ryleigh around the house five days a
week and her weekly trips to the beauty shop!
Nov. 2005: Gene Whitley (Husband of Diane Williams Whitley, daughter of Curtis & Louise Williams):
Gene served his country during the Viet Nam war and received a Purple Heart for
injuries received during his service. It appears these long tolerated injuries have
lead to a possible hip replacement. Please remember Gene in your prayers as he
and his doctors work together to determine the best method of treatment.
Diane sent it this update on Gene:
Looks like Gene is not going to have to have hip replacement surgery. The doctors at the VA want to try putting
Gene on a pain management plan, where he will be able to receive a steroid shot every 3 months. He received
his first shot on November 28th. Right now his pain has eased up and he is able to walk without his cane. The doctor told
him the shot wouldn't fix his back or hip, but would help ease the pain. The shot could last 6 weeks, 6 months are 2 years. "
Let's keep Gene in our prayers!
